AVATAR

I watched it in 3D. The movie was very emotional at times and there were lots of gun fires, explosions, weird noises coming out from Pandora's forest etc. I must say the movie was really touching and powerful like the theme song. I'll get back to the theme song later. The movie is directed by James Cameron and I think that AVATAR is like the combination of all the past films he made and more. Really, I'm not joking. I might watch it again and maybe again. It was really an amazing film. The movie lasted for 2hours and 42minutes.

So basically the story tells about an ex-marine named Jake Sully who took over his twin brother's job who was a military soldier helping the military to obtain rare gems buried deep under Pandora. Since they were brothers, Jake was called to take over his brother's AVATAR body as they share the same genes and to continue his mission. He and his brother looked very alike. When he first tried on his AVATAR body, he was a bit rash as he was able to walk because he was paralyzed waist down. Thus he was very excited. Jake travels to Pandora, a lush and sentient-inhabited jungle. It is filled with many incredible life forms and it is also the home to the Na'vi. At first, Jake en-countered several terrifying creatures which got him separated from the rest while hunting in the jungles of Pandora. He was lost until a female Na'vi called Neytiri saved him while he was being attacked by some creatures. Jake followed Neytiri to her clan where he than learnt to adapt to their culture and ways. As he learnt new things, he will tell the military everything he knows so that it would be easier to obtain the rare gem stones. As days goes by, Jake begin to fall in love with Neytiri and soon realised that he was caught between the military-industrial forces of Earth and the Na’vi, forcing him to choose sides in an epic battle that will decide the fate of Pandora.

The battle was outrages. There were explosions, gun fires, bows and arrows, etc. All the charging and rampaging made the sound of war looks and hears good. I love it. The was was between gunships, robots, machines and humans against Na'vi and the wild life creatures who lived there. It was amazing. I JUST DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE IT. Also, several main characters died during war. However it ended thanks to Neytiri who killed the military leader who was the one who started the war and was trying to kill Jake Sully's human body. He even faced up with Jake Sully's AVATAR and told him about betraying his own kind.

During the Epilogue, after the war, the humans surrendered and was sent back to Earth while Jake Sully and the Na'vi celebrated their victory and his birthday. The movie ended as the Na'vi performed something like a ceremony which afterwards showed Jake's human and AVATAR body opposite each other. Both bodies lying down with eyes closed and... Jake's soul was being transferred from his human body to his AVATAR body. He opened his eyes.

I MUST TELL YOU SOMETHING BEFORE I STOP WRITING. Stay at your seat during the End Credits for you will be listening to the theme song of AVATAR. The title of the song is called I SEE YOU by Leona Lewis. It's very emotional and powerful like the film itself. It is also very mesmerizing. It would be even better if you watch the 3D one because during the End Credits, they showed many scenarios of Pandora. Go listen to it all over again and again.
