Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief

Review: Simple plot. Several good jokes. Cool action sequence and abilities.

Ratings based on my opinion: 3 out of 5 stars. I want to give this movie a chance since it's the first film.

Basic plot: A demigod, Percy Jackson who is the son of Poseidon was accused of stealing Zeus's lighting bolt. Hence, there was an argument between Zeus and Poseidon. The argument was that if Percy did not return the bolt back to Zeus in a few days or a week, I'm not really sure, there will be war and Earth would be the battleground. When creatures started to hunt Percy, his best friend knew it was time. Along the way, Percy's mum got captured by Hades creature. Hades wanted to trade his mum for Zeus lighting bolt. Percy thought that if he could get to the underworld and convince Hades that he was not the lightning thief, Hades would let his mum free. So, Percy and 2 of his friends journeyed around USA to obtain 3 pearls which are very useful before getting into the underworld. When they were there, something unexpected happened... He encountered the lightning thief later on.
